Great to meet you!
When life feels overwhelming, we need to feel seen, heard, and cared for more than ever. If you find that you lack support in your personal life from family, friends, or even work, and you feel like you need more guidance, then I am a good fit for you. I specialize in couples, families, and those struggling with relational issues.
I understand feeling lost and not knowing where to turn. As someone who found resilience in my struggles, I know just how difficult it is to navigate these feelings alone. If you are currently in the “counselor hunting” stage, I have been in your shoes and I know it is daunting. It can feel intimidating to try to find the right fit and it’s not always easy to trust someone you don’t know yet. However, I want you to know that feeling better is possible and you do not have to suffer alone anymore. You have already made the first step in the right direction just by looking for options. I am here to help, and I am excited to get to know you and help you along your journey.
When working with me, you can expect comfort and safety where there is freedom to be yourself. You will find understanding and acceptance in your courage to share yourself with me. My goal is to provide a space where you feel welcome and heard, while you learn tools to guide you in the direction of your goals. I strive to build a strong therapeutic relationship with you where you can share what you need to heal and change.
My clients describe me as warm, comforting, encouraging, and loyal. I am here to help you heal and grow in your journey. Life can be a struggle sometimes and we all need someone we can lean on for support. Sometimes that can be a loved one and other times we need a counselor. I would love to be that support for you.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University.
