Great to meet you!

You have spent a long time holding everything together for your family, friends, and team. But lately, it feels like that constant weight is finally catching up with you. You might find yourself lying awake replaying difficult moments, bracing for the next crisis, or wondering how much longer you can keep performing at this level without burning out. On paper, you may look accomplished and “fine,” yet inside there may be a mix of unresolved trauma, anxiety, grief, or exhaustion that doesn’t get much space because everyone is used to you being the strong one.If you’re an athlete or high performer, you might notice that mental blocks, perfectionism, or past experiences are starting to interfere with your training, competition, or ability to enjoy what you once loved. If you’re a helper, leader, or caregiver, you might feel like you “should” be able to handle this on your own, even as your body and relationships are telling you something needs to change. Underneath all your success and busy days, it can feel like you are stuck in survival mode. You are constantly on guard and rarely feel truly at ease.

My approach to therapy

I work with teens, adults, and athletes who are either recovering from trauma and anxiety or wanting to level up their performance, helping them build a steadier nervous system and a more sustainable way of moving through life and sport. I use proven, brain‐ and body‐based approaches like Brainspotting, and we pay close attention to how your thoughts, emotions, and physical health all connect in your day‐to‐day life. Together, we’ll look at how your nervous system, lived experiences, identities, and current responsibilities all interact, then tailor the work to fit your real life rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all model. When we meet, we’ll focus on what feels most important and doable for you in this season. Sometimes that looks like understanding why certain situations hit so hard or leave you drained, and sometimes it means practicing new ways to respond so you feel less stuck and more in control of how you handle stress. Other times it means learning to notice your body’s signals, set boundaries that protect your energy, or approach performance and achievement from a more sustainable place. I blend my background as a fitness competitor and personal trainer with advanced training in health psychology and traumatic stress. This unique mix allows me to support your emotional recovery and your performance goals in sports, leadership, caregiving, and daily life.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help you reclaim a life that feels grounded, connected, and fully your own. Your identity should not be defined only by what you have survived or what you produce. Over time, many clients experience fewer trauma responses, less constant hypervigilance, improved sleep, and a greater sense of internal safety and self-trust.You may find yourself:

  • Feeling more present instead of constantly on alert
  • Responding to stress from a steadier, more resourced place
  • Releasing old patterns of self-blame, perfectionism, or people-pleasing
  • Showing up in relationships with clearer boundaries and deeper authenticity
  • Returning to your sport, work, or calling with renewed clarity and sustainable drive

You don’t have to keep carrying everything by yourself or wait until you “fall apart” to get support. If you’re ready to move beyond survival mode and into a more steady, intentional way of living, I’d be honored to walk alongside you in that process.
