Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a licensed psychologist with a doctoral degree from Fordham University's counseling psychology program. I treat a broad range of psychiatric issues with a specialization in trauma-related mental health concerns and substance abuse.

My approach to therapy

I work primarily from a psychodynamic and attachment- based perspective but have experience with a wide variety of treatment approaches. My focus is on building a supportive and non-judgmental therapeutic space in which we can investigate how early relationship models may inform current interpersonal patterns, with the goal of helping you to relate to others with greater flexibility and choice.

What you can expect from me

I strive to cultivate a safe environment in which you can more fully engage with your emotional experience and begin to revise your internal dialogue and personal narrative. I also work creatively to integrate skills building techniques for symptom reduction based on your individual needs. My treatment is informed by close consideration of socioeconomic, cultural, political, community, and health dimensions that may be impacting your current concerns.
