Great to meet you!

My job as your therapist is to bear witness to you and your story, to offer insights on issues that you bring to session and to challenge you to better understand the relationships and/or behavioral patterns in your life that are causing you to feel stuck or unfulfilled. I work from an intersectional lens and am always mindful of the ways that race, class, gender, sexuality and ability inform a person’s unique lived experience. I welcome those that are new to therapy.

My approach to therapy

I work from a psychodynamic, relational framework which means that I am curious about the role you play in your primary relationships (with family, friends, romantic partners). I work from the understanding that our earliest attachments in life inform the way we engage in our present day relationships. Together we will explore behavioral patterns in these relationships in order to help you to feel more fulfilled and connected.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel affirmed in our sessions and to have their experiences be validated. I am also very collaborative and active in my approach so clients can expect to hear feedback from me and to gain new perspectives.
