Great to meet you!

Hey there, I'm Hans. A little about what I do: I have conversations. I bring my whole self to them: my curiosity, training, humor, and life experience—then together, we'll work toward whatever you're trying to change, understand, or get unstuck from.

I enjoy working with creatives of any age, as well as people in their twenties and thirties navigating anxiety and major life transitions. Drawing on CBT, relational, and humanistic approaches, I tailor our work together to how you want to be helped, rather than fitting you into one method. In my experience, when two people show up fully and commit to the process, moments of insight emerge that carry well beyond our sessions.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as exploring what is possible when two people form a genuine relationship. My approach is honest and relational. I aim to show up as my full self in the room, because I believe that's the most important way to form genuine connection, and therefore make real change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my main focus is us getting to know each other and figure out what exactly it is that we're going to be working towards. How that usually that looks is me asking you a bunch of questions about what brought you to therapy and just getting a general sense of your life in general, but also leaving room for you to ask me questions about whatever you'd like.
