Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families across educational, community, and behavioral health settings. I help clients navigate anxiety, stress, emotional and behavioral concerns, relationship difficulties, life transitions, parenting challenges, and personal growth. My approach is warm, collaborative, strengths-based, and culturally responsive, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel comfortable being vulnerable, express their authentic selves, and feel genuinely heard and understood. I honor each client’s unique culture, values, and life experiences while helping them develop practical tools and move toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, person-centered, and grounded in the belief that a trusting relationship can create the foundation for meaningful change. I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, strengths, culture, and goals while integrating evidence-based and trauma-informed practices. Together, we explore emotional and relational patterns, develop practical coping and communication skills, and deepen understanding of the experiences that may be contributing to distress. I strive to create a safe, respectful space where clients can be vulnerable, connect with their authentic selves, and move toward greater self-awareness and well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I will take time to get to know you, understand what brings you to therapy, and learn what you hope to gain from the process. You will have the opportunity to share your story at a pace that feels comfortable, and together we will begin identifying your needs, strengths, and goals. I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where you can feel safe, supported, and comfortable being vulnerable. We will also discuss what therapy may look like moving forward and begin shaping a plan that feels meaningful and realistic for you.
