Great to meet you!

I have 11 years of experience working with adults, children, and adolescents with various psychiatric issues/diagnoses. I started as a registered nurse, advanced my career, and became a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I treat mood disorders, anxiety, and depression via my virtual platform. I do not treat substance abuse or prescribe any controlled substances via my virtual practice.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I require my clients to complete an intake form before our first session. The intake form helps me determine the severity of the illness and if I am a good fit for the specific client's needs. I complete a psychiatric evaluation and provide a diagnosis (depending on the client's symptoms, if appropriate). Then, we will discuss the treatment plan, including the need for individual therapy (if a client needs it) and follow-up.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal is to meet clients' needs and help them as much as I can to achieve their treatment goals, including medication management. At the end of the session, my client will know the treatment plan, including the follow-up care plan.
