Great to meet you!

Life can bring us to a place where we feel lost in uncertainty overwhelm, and burnout. As a Queer and Asian American licensed psychotherapist, I believe that feeling seen and understood is essential to the transformative healing process of therapy. Drawing from over 6 years of experience in clinical social work and community behavioral experience, my clinical focus is rooted in working with LGBTQ+ and BIPOC adolescents and adults navigating relationship distress, loss and life transitions, anxiety and depression, and trauma.

My approach to therapy

When working together, I aim to co-create a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship and environment. My goal is to empower you to develop insight and understanding around patterns of emotional and behavioral distress and committing to meaningful and self-compassionate actions towards change. It is important to me that you feel affirmed and respected in your unique identities and experiences to guide your healing journey.

What you can expect from me

I always start each therapeutic connection with an introductory session, where you will be able to share your goals for therapy and the different pieces of your identity and story that shape these goals. I strive to foster warm, open, and compassionate dialogue to build vulnerability through understanding. From there, we will deepen our insight around your goals and define concrete steps towards achieving them.
