Great to meet you!

Most people call me Dr. Mel. I provide counseling/therapy to individuals and couples struggling with how to get through life. I am retired from the US Air Force, where I worked as a clinical social worker with military members and families. Since then I teach social work to graduate students. I enjoy working virtually with clients and find that when someone cares and listens clients lives improves. I won't tell you what to do, but I will work with you to have a better life.

My approach to therapy

I listen more than talk. I don't have a magic wand or simple answers. I work together with clients to sort out their lives in a positive way. God has not gone on vacation and left me in charge, I do not judge.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel better about themselves and have a sense of direction.
