Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist, I know the importance of emotional well-being and self-care as keys to happiness, satisfying relationships, and success in life. I believe in a comprehensive and holistic approach that uses treatment strategies grounded in neuroscience and evidence-based interventions.

I have been practicing for many years and work with adults and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, LGBTQIA+ concerns, grief and loss, stress management, OCD, bipolar disorder, anger management, and life transitions. My goal is to help reduce emotional pain, strengthen resilience, and open pathways toward greater well-being, balance, and happiness. I value each person’s unique story and strive to provide a supportive space where you feel understood, respected, and empowered to move forward.

My approach to therapy

Who we are today is shaped by our unique experiences, our resilience, and our individual characteristics. Who we become tomorrow is often based on the intentional thoughts and actions we take today. I partner with my clients using evidence-based strategies and therapeutic coaching to support individualized growth and planning.

My approach is holistic, participatory, and empowering. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Positive Psychology, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD). Together, we work to reduce distress, better understand emotional and behavioral patterns, and develop practical skills that support meaningful change. It is important to me that progress begins to occur as emotional pain is reduced and a stronger sense of well-being takes shape.

What you can expect from me

An introductory session is available to better understand your needs and goals while also giving you a chance to learn more about my holistic and therapeutic approach. This helps us make sure we are a good fit for working together.

From the beginning, we will identify your goals and explore interventions that can best support the outcome you are hoping for. You can expect a respectful, collaborative, and encouraging environment where your concerns are taken seriously and your strengths are recognized. Over time, therapy can help you manage anxiety and depression, process trauma, improve coping skills, reduce stress, strengthen self-awareness, and create more satisfying relationships and a greater sense of overall well-being.
