Before starting treatment of my patients for any mental/behavioral health condition I would first consider other possible differential diagnoses, current clinical standards of care and evidence-based practice. I would emphasize individualized and culturally responsive treatment planning and demonstrate an understanding of the biopsychosocial factors influencing diagnosis and management of these conditions.
