Great to meet you!
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you're used to carrying everything on your own. Whether you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, burned out, or simply wondering why you keep finding yourself in the same patterns, therapy can be a place to slow down, gain perspective, and begin making meaningful changes.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, trauma, relationship difficulties, substance use and recovery, life transitions, and challenges with self-esteem or emotional regulation. I also enjoy working with people who feel like they're "high functioning" on the outside but internally struggle with stress, loneliness, perfectionism, or feeling disconnected from themselves and others.
I believe therapy should be both supportive and practical. My approach isn't just about talking through problems—it's about helping you understand why certain patterns developed, identifying what's keeping them in place, and building the skills needed to create lasting change. Together, we'll explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and values in a way that promotes both insight and action.
My work draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your individual goals, strengths, and experiences.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I balance empathy with honesty. I'll listen without judgment while also gently challenging the beliefs and behaviors that may no longer be serving you. I see therapy as a collaborative process; we'll work together to identify meaningful goals, celebrate progress, and navigate setbacks with curiosity rather than self-criticism.
