Hi, I’m Havesh Latchman, MS, LPC, LAC. I am a graduate of SUNY Buffalo State and SUNY New Paltz. I have worked in community mental health, crisis, law enforcement and private practice settings. I believe that you are the expert on your life, and I am here to help you navigate your challenges with kindness and unconditional support. My approach is collaborative; we’ll work together to build a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings and find the balance you’re seeking. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, life transitions, or feeling stuck, I am here to walk alongside you. Let’s work together to find what works for you—feel free to reach out for a consultation
I combine evidence-based techniques—primarily CBT and mindfulness-based approaches—with a person-centered focus on your unique experience. I believe in helping you recognize your inner strengths, while also challenging long-standing patterns that may be causing distress. Together, we will set actionable goals to help you move forward, gain insight, and achieve a more fulfilling life.
In this first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand what brought you here. I’ll start by reviewing confidentiality and some logistical paperwork, then I’ll ask about your history, current challenges, and what you hope to get out of therapy. This is also a great time for you to ask me questions to see if I’m the right fit for you. We don't have to cover everything in our first meeting; we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
