Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is HavreDe Hill. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with over 15 years’ experience providing social services to youth and families and mental health counseling to children, teens, and adults. I have worked with diverse clients along the spectrum of needs seeking help with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, chronic health issues, trauma, parenting, life transitions, LGBTQ+ issues, and more. I also work with my clients to attain joy, balance, and success in their work, health, relationships, and mind-body-spirit. As a fierce advocate for holistic health, I am committed to harnessing my clients’ personal potential for wellness.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies from the University of Florida (2006), my Master of Science in Applied Psychology from Lynn University (2014), and my certification as a Functional Medicine Health Coach from the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (2022). I also have a background in the performing arts, teaching in higher education, and love to cook, swim in the ocean, bike, read, write, and laugh!

My approach to therapy

I seek to establish an authentic relationship with you that builds on your strengths. I look forward to exploring your values and visions and motivating you toward the meaningful life you crave. I am committed to being a warm, compassionate partner on your wellness journey and will honor that you are the expert of what is best for you all along the way!

My therapeutic and coaching approaches are eclectic, collaborative, and client centered. I use humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, mindfulness, and mind-body methods to bring about sustainable change and healing. I also employ techniques and self-assessments from positive psychology to activate my clients’ resiliency and empower them to achieve their goals. I welcome individuals, couples, and families residing in Florida to work with me for therapy and individuals, couples, and families who reside in-state and nationwide to work with me as a mental health coach.

*If you do not have health insurance, I will work with you on a sliding scale for therapy. Please note, insurance also does not cover mental health coaching.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be different from our other sessions because we will focus on getting to know each other in a supportive and non-judgmental space. You can also expect that we will go over confidentiality, client and provider expectations, and your personal and medical history so I can better understand your needs and goals for care. This will be used to support your treatment plan and provide you with an opportunity for me to answer any questions you may also have about payment, cancellations, hours, contact outside of sessions, my background, etc.
