Great to meet you!

Hi and welcome! I am so happy you’re here. I have worked in the counseling field for over seven years. I have a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have mainly worked with adults both in inpatient and outpatient substance use programs. However, I also have experience working with depression, anxiety, family issues, and trauma/PTSD.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take an integrative approach to therapy and utilize characteristics of different theories. I tailor the treatment needs to the individual patient; I use psychodynamic, experiential/relationship-based, and cognitive behavioral approaches. I also incorporate narrative therapy and solution-focused therapy. I believe you are the pilot of your own life, and I am your copilot by helping you navigate the journey. The relationship between counselor and client is the most important relationship, so we will ensure to nurture it!

What you can expect from our first session

I hope clients will leave sessions feeling heard, empowered, and motivated. I pride myself in providing a warm, safe environment for clients to explore whatever it is they are concerned or curious about. I am excited for the opportunity to work with you!
