Great to meet you!

If you've been carrying anxiety, stress, or the weight of things you haven't fully processed yet — and you want a therapist who actually listens before jumping to solutions — you're in the right place.

I'm a licensed therapist working with children, teens, and adults across a range of concerns: anxiety, OCD, trauma, ADHD, relationship stress, and questions of identity, culture, and belonging. I've trained extensively in approaches that actually have evidence behind them — CBT, DBT, ACT, and ERP for OCD — but I don't apply them like a checklist. I use them because they work, and I adapt them to you.

I work especially well with clients who are self-aware and want to understand themselves better, not just feel better in the short term. I also enjoy working with families navigating difficult dynamics and young people who don't quite fit the mold.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is collaborative. I'm not here to tell you what to do or hand you worksheets — I'm here to help you understand what's actually going on beneath the surface, and then build real skills to change it.

My work is trauma-informed, which means I take seriously how your history shows up in your present. I draw from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and ACT depending on what fits your goals. For OCD specifically, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard approach that actually moves the needle.

I care about the whole picture — how your mind, body, and relationships all interact. I'll challenge you when it's useful and back off when you need space. Most clients describe the pace as real, not rushed.

What you can expect from me

The first session is low-pressure. We'll talk about what's been going on — what brought you here, what you've tried before, and what you're hoping for. I'll ask some questions to understand your background, but this isn't an interrogation. You set the pace.

By the end, you'll have a clearer sense of what working together would look like and whether I feel like a good fit. Fit matters — and I'll be honest with you if I think someone else might serve you better. Most people leave the first session feeling like they can breathe a little.
