Hello, my name is Nicole and I am a female identified Multi-Racial Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in Trauma. I've been in this field since 2020 when I was in my Master's Program and specialize in Trauma. I work with individuals ages (9 and up) from various cultural backgrounds dealing with depression, anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, childhood trauma, and other personal challenges.
I often start with Humanistic Therapy in my practice. Once sessions have started and depending on the topic I bring in other the modalities such a Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and Trauma Focused. With CBT, DBT, and REBT we will look at how your thoughts, emotions, and behavior are influenced by each other and by past/current trauma.
I work with clients who maybe struggling with Depression, Anxiety or Trauma related to their relationships, family, or phases of life. During our initial sessions, we will work on building a safe and compassionate environment as well as building the foundation of coping skills, techniques. We will collaborate as a team to create a plan addressing problems to help you get your life back.
