Great to meet you!

I have been working the mental health field since 2013 in different capacities. These different directions I feel have helped me understand people from different perspectives. I focus on the immediate needs for each of my client's and what will stabilize them or focus them on immediate goals to support their mental and physical health.

My approach to therapy

I try to keep a more personal approach with my clients by displaying empathy and expressing emotions related to their lives. I try to keep sessions light but focused on the client's needs. I may discuss life experiences that lead to talking about solutions to some issues the client may be having. I have been known to sit in various feelings with my client that could range from anger, sadness, hurt from betrayal or just simple astonishment from someone else's behaviors.

What you can expect from me

During the first session a client can expect me to ask a lot of questions to build a full understanding of the situation and the reason for seeking therapy services. I try to provide a free and open space so clients can feel free to express their feelings in full and not feel that they have to act or feel a certain way.
