Great to meet you!

I have been in practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in CA since 2000, and now in TX since 2016, as well. I enjoy working with many different types of clients; kids, teens, couples, and adult individuals.

A little about myself: I have been happily married for over 24 years, and have 2 awesome young adult children. I enjoy riding our horses, raising our Golden Retrievers and traveling. My faith has been a big source of strength and positivity in my life.

My approach to therapy

I firmly believe that everyone has the answers they need deep within them. Sometimes people just need help uncovering the answers and coping in life while they build their skills to become the best version of themselves that they can be. I love helping clients discover their "best self". I believe that improving interpersonal relationships through improved communication and boundaries are key to a healthy self, as well. I have a special knack for connecting with teenagers. and use a lot of empathy, encouragement and humor with clients.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel heard, empathized with, and leaving each session with some "work". Change happens between therapy sessions, but you can feel supported and learn skills and even practice them in session, Every session we work on getting a step closer to the your goals.
