Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am passionate about helping people heal from trauma. I have over 15 years of experience working with trauma and use CBT techniques to help to decrease anxiety and depression related symptoms. One of my specialties is working with first responders and law Enforcement Officers. I like to teach about trauma and the brain, so that people can understand why they have the symptoms that they do. I also specialize in working with sexual assault and pain management. My goal is to help you to feel better, so that you can move forward and get unstuck from the past.

My approach to therapy

I find that trauma needs special training, so I utilize CBT techniques, handouts, and tools, as well as some talk therapy to help facilitate the healing process. I have a laid-back style and want you to feel comfortable and relaxed.

What you can expect from me

In the first session with me, I want to hear about you and some of your background, a little about your support system and what symptoms you are experiencing that you would like help with. I want you to feel comfortable and welcomed.
