Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) serving clients in person in San Antonio and virtually throughout Texas and Florida.

In my practice, I specialize in working with adults, high-achievers, and "the strong ones"—the fixers, leaders, and eldest siblings who are used to taking care of everyone else but are secretly running on empty. My primary treatment areas include:

  • Anxiety & Overthinking: Helping you quiet the racing thoughts and find relief from that constant, "on-edge" feeling.
  • Burnout Recovery: Providing practical tools for professionals and caretakers who are emotionally exhausted and operating on fumes.
  • Life Transitions: Navigating the disorienting, messy middle of major life, career, or relationship changes.

In our sessions, you don’t need a script; just show up as you are. My style is a collaborative, faith-friendly conversation where we meet your real-world struggles with down-to-earth grace. Together, we will turn your stress and constant overthinking into practical, manageable tools you can use the moment our session ends. You don't have to carry this heavy load alone anymore—let's work through it together.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is a collaborative, faith-friendly conversation rooted in down-to-earth grace and practical action. I don't believe in rigid lectures or clinical jargon; instead, I believe in meeting you exactly as you are.

Here is what that looks like in practice:

  • No Scripts Required: You don’t need a polished explanation of your problems to sit on my couch. You just need to show up. We will look at what feels heaviest right now and pace our work together in a way that respects your story.
  • Dropping the Armor: I specialize in creating a safe space for high-achievers, leaders, and "the strong ones" who are used to taking care of everyone else. With me, you don't have to pretend you have it all figured out. You finally get to just be human.
  • Practical, Real-World Tools: Insight is great, but relief happens in your daily life. Our sessions are focused on turning overwhelming stress, burnout, and late-night overthinking into manageable, actionable strategies you can start using the moment you walk out the door.

Ultimately, my goal is to walk side-by-side with you, helping you move away from that constant, on-edge anxiety and toward a life of confidence and peace.

What you can expect from me

Here is exactly what we will do during our first session together:

  • Lower the Pressure: If you are used to being the "strong one" who has all the answers, your first task is simply to breathe. This is a judgment-free space where you can finally drop the armor.
  • Understand Your Story: To truly support you, I will ask a lot of intentional questions during this first session. We will explore your background, your past experiences, and where you are coming from so I can fully understand the context of your life.
  • Unpack the Heaviest Weight: We will talk about what is hurting or overwhelming you right now. Whether it is burnout, a messy life transition, or late-night overthinking, we combine your background with your current struggles to see the whole picture.
  • Sketch a Roadmap: Before you leave, we will collaborate on a practical, faith-friendly roadmap for our work moving forward. You will walk out the door with a clear sense of direction.

You don’t have to carry the load alone anymore. Our first session is simply about taking that first step together.
