Great to meet you!

I am a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years experience in the medical field. Not only do I offer adult ADHD evaluations and treatment planning but I also live with ADHD, providing my clients with a unique lived experience and clinical expertise.

My approach to therapy

What to Expect:

ADHD evaluations are straightforward and typically completed over two to three visits, depending on your needs.

Before your first appointment, you will complete a brief intake and screening form to help guide the process.

During the initial visit, we will discuss your history, current concerns, and how symptoms are impacting your daily life. Standardized ADHD screening tools complement this to support an accurate and comprehensive assessment.

At the follow-up visit, I will review the results with you, determine the presence of ADHD, and discuss next steps and treatment options. I provide clear, practical recommendations to enhance your functioning and quality of life. Such as, executive function support, emotional and social skills development.

If medication is deemed appropriate, I provide detailed recommendations and coordinate with your primary care provider or psychiatrist in accordance with Kentucky regulations.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we’ll focus on understanding your concerns and building a clear picture of your history and current challenges.

We’ll talk through your attention, focus, organization, and daily functioning, along with any past experiences related to school, work, or previous evaluations. I’ll also review any intake information or screening tools you completed before the visit.

The goal of this first appointment is to gather the information needed for an accurate and thorough ADHD evaluation while keeping the process focused and manageable. You can expect a structured, conversational approach with time for questions and a clear understanding of next steps.
