Great to meet you!

Do you feel like your brain is always working against you? Maybe anxiety keeps you stuck in overthinking and ADHD makes follow-through feel impossible, even for the things that matter most to you. You are not lazy or behind. You just haven't had the right support yet. I'm Dr. Heather Clifford, a licensed psychologist specializing in anxiety and ADHD. I work with adults who are ready to stop surviving their days and start actually living them. I provide affirming care for queer individuals, with a particular passion for those on the bi+ spectrum.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness. We focus on understanding how your brain works, building self-trust, and taking meaningful steps toward what matters most to you. I am trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and attuned to the ways ADHD and anxiety intersect with identity and self-worth.

What you can expect from me

Sometimes what looks like ADHD or anxiety is also grief: the loss of a relationship, a version of yourself, or someone you loved. If you are tired of being told how strong you are while quietly drowning, you are not alone. Whatever brought you here, I am ready to meet you there. You deserve a space to be fully human.
