Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but you don't have to navigate it alone. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University, I am a dedicated therapist passionate about helping individuals build resilience, process difficult experiences, and discover practical tools for meaningful change. In my practice, I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) modalities to help clients identify negative thought patterns, manage overwhelming emotions, and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges, including ADHD, Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Depression, Suicidality, Grief, and Domestic Violence.

Outside of the Office

When I’m not working, I am a proud wife and a mother to two very active little boys who keep me on my toes! To recharge, I love spending time outdoors, getting lost in a good book, catching up with friends, and enjoying a little retail therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and deeply rooted in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and supported.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is entirely about connection, comfort, and clarity. It is completely normal to feel a bit nervous, so we will take things at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. Think of this initial meeting as a collaborative conversation rather than a rigid interview.

Here is what our first 50 minutes together will look like:

Building Our Connection: Before we dive into the heavy stuff, we’ll take a few minutes to get comfortable, chat about how therapy works, and discuss confidentiality so you know exactly what to expect from our space.

Understanding Your "Why": We will explore what brings you to therapy at this specific moment. Whether you are managing chronic anxiety, navigating a major life transition, coping with grief, or just feeling overwhelmed, I want to hear your story in your own words.

Looking at the Big Picture: To help me get a holistic view of who you are, we’ll lightly touch upon your background, your history, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past.

Setting Initial Goals: We will collaborate on what you hope to get out of our time together. You don’t need to have it all figured out—we will simply begin mapping out a direction for your healing and growth.

Your Turn to Ask Questions: Therapy is a two-way street. You’ll have plenty of space to ask me questions about my approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), or anything else that helps you feel confident moving forward.

By the end of our first session, my goal is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and equipped with a clear understanding of how we will work together to help you thrive.
