Great to meet you!

I'm Heather Davies, a dedicated counselor with 18 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges. I earned my BA in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington and my MA in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. My practice focuses on women's issues, parenting support, stress management, anxiety and panic disorders, and depression. Through a compassionate and personalized approach, I strive to create a safe space for healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is rooted in partnership and collaboration. I strive to build strong rapport with each client, offering a supportive space where they can rediscover hope and navigate the challenges they face. Using a relational framework, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to empower clients with practical strategies for growth, resilience, and positive change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a structured, goal-oriented approach to therapy, ensuring steady progress toward personal growth and healing. To reinforce insights gained during sessions, I assign thoughtful "homework" exercises, encouraging clients to practice and remain mindful of their journey in between appointments. This process fosters deeper reflection and empowers clients to actively engage in their own healing.
