Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Heather, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who believes therapy should be a space where you can feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted for who you are. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the unique experiences that can come with being neurodivergent. As a queer and neurodivergent therapist, I understand how important it can be to find a therapist who creates a safe, affirming space where you don't have to hide or explain every part of yourself. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and create a life that feels more authentic and meaningful to you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I draw from CBT, mindfulness, strength-based, trauma-informed, and EMDR approaches, tailoring therapy to your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we can explore the patterns, emotions, experiences, and beliefs that may be getting in the way of feeling like yourself. I want therapy to be a place where you can develop practical coping skills while also learning to understand, accept, and care for yourself with greater compassion.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’re experiencing, what you hope will change, and what you need from your therapist. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin—I’ll help guide the conversation. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling heard, respected, and hopeful that therapy can be a place where meaningful change is possible.
