Great to meet you!

I have a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked in the healthcare field for over 30 years in a variety of settings including hospitals, home health, and mental health facilities. A highlight of my career was being able to provide healthcare and mental health services while volunteering in China, India, and serving in Peace Corps Mongolia.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside surrounded by trees and near a river or creek. I enjoy learning and make time to enhance my own personal growth. I also like to play games, ski, and listen to podcasts.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is a direct, collaborative, and compassionate approach. I am most excited by working together with my clients to develop long-lasting change and empowerment. I have training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)Therapy for OCD. I am certified in Synergetic Play Therapy. I love working with all ages- adults, children, preteens, and teens!
