ADD/ADHD

Great to meet you!

The squirrel is real and everyone with ADHD understands this. Everything can be going simply fine, and the squirrel will hop on over to distract you or run off with something especially important (car keys, homework, etc.). I help individuals gain the skills they need to be able to handle all the ups and downs of ADHD.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I understand that the squirrel is not a joke. Having ADHD is a complex real disorder that often does not travel alone. It can come with other disorders that lead to a more complex presentation. It can impact all areas of your life and lead to distress. If these are not adequately treated it will continue to impact daily functioning. These are the reasons that someone may want to pursue therapy over coaching.

What you can expect from our first session

Why work with me for ADHD? I only work with clients with ADHD, I only take training on ADHD and most importantly I have ADHD. I only use techniques that I know will be useful. I also understand that being neuroatypical and neurodiverse in a neurotypical world can be challenging.
