Great to meet you!

I've spent my career sitting with people in some of their hardest moments — crisis units, inpatient settings, disability rehabilitation, and corporate healthcare programs. I've also been a foster parent, which gave me a firsthand understanding of what it looks like when families are stretched past their limits and still trying to hold it together.I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, which means I'm especially equipped to work with clients managing the mental health side of physical health — chronic illness, disability, and the identity shifts that come with them. My work is grounded in the belief that people are more resilient than they realize, and that the right support makes that resilience accessible.

My approach to therapy

I don't use a one-size-fits-all playbook. I pull from Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and behavioral approaches based on what you actually need — not what's easiest for me to deliver. Sessions are practical and goal-oriented, but there's room for whatever shows up.I'm direct without being harsh, warm without being soft. I'll reflect things back to you honestly, ask the questions that matter, and help you figure out the next right step — not some distant version of "healed." Progress can look like finishing a hard conversation you've been avoiding, making one different decision, or just feeling less alone with something.

What you can expect from me

Expect a conversation, not an intake form. I'll ask about what's brought you in, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping life looks like on the other side of this. You don't have to have it figured out before we talk — that's what the session is for. There's no pressure to commit to anything in that first meeting. My job is to understand what you're dealing with, and your job is to figure out whether this feels like the right fit. By the end, you'll have a sense of what working together could look like and whether you want to move forward.
