Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, trauma-informed mental health care to adolescents and adults. Value building a trusting therapeutic relationship and meeting clients where they are. I use both medication and supportive therapy to help clients manage anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress, and life transitions. Believing that healing happens when people feel heard, understood, and empowered to take steps toward change at their own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach to treatment is individualized and collaborative. I recognize that each person has their own story, strengths, and challenges, so there is no one-size-fits-all method to care. I tailor my approach based on your needs, comfort level, and goals. For some individuals, that may include medication management along with supportive talk therapy. For others, it may involve skill-building strategies to manage anxiety or mood symptoms, exploring patterns that are creating stress, or processing past experiences in a safe and grounded way.

Throughout our work together, I prioritize creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and genuinely supported. I value open communication and shared decision-making, and I encourage you to be an active participant in your treatment. We will continually check in about what is helping, what could be adjusted, and how you are feeling along the way. The goal is not perfection — it is progress, self-understanding, and building the tools that allow you to move forward with confidence and resilience.

What you can expect from me

During your first appointment, we will spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brings you to treatment. I will ask about your current concerns, personal history, past experiences with therapy or medication, and any goals you have for your mental health and overall well-being. This initial session is not about being judged or “evaluated” — it is about understanding you as a whole person. Together, we will clarify what you hope to gain from treatment, identify strengths and barriers, and begin creating a plan that feels both meaningful and realistic. You are welcome to go at your own pace, ask questions, and share only what you feel comfortable sharing. The goal of our first session is to build a foundation of trust and ensure you feel supported, understood, and involved in every step of your care.
