Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in attachment-focused therapy, TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) principles, and relational work with high-stress families. My commitment to supporting children and families navigating complex emotional and behavioral challenges is deeply rooted in my experience working within the foster care system and my own journey as both a foster and adoptive parent. I understand firsthand the impact of attachment disruptions and trauma, and I strive to bring a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to my work, emphasizing safety, trust, and connection to foster healing and resilience.

My approach to therapy

I focus on working with families experiencing attachment disruptions, court-ordered therapy, and reunification cases. I am particularly skilled in addressing situations where children experience feelings of alienation and abandonment. My goal is to help families navigate these deeply emotional issues with sensitivity and care. Using TBRI principles, I support families in recognizing and healing the effects of trauma, building strong relational connections, and creating safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive. My experience with court-ordered therapy and reunification work allows me to navigate the sensitive intersections of legal requirements and therapeutic goals, ensuring that each family receives support tailored to their unique needs.

In addition to my work with attachment and reunification, I am passionate about supporting children with high-level behavioral needs and coaching parents to create structured, supportive environments for growth. My work includes parent coaching, where I partner with caregivers to develop effective strategies for managing challenging behaviors, enhancing emotional regulation, and strengthening parent-child interactions. I collaborate with families, schools, and community resources to create actionable plans that promote resilience and positive developmental outcomes.

I am committed to strengthening families, restoring connections, and promoting healthy development for children and adolescents facing life's most demanding challenges.
