Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with experience helping adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, OCD, trauma, grief, and major life transitions. I use evidence-based approaches including ERP, EMDR, ACT, DBT, and parts-informed work, while tailoring therapy to the person in front of me rather than forcing everyone into the same model.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, curious, collaborative, and grounded in compassion, with plenty of room for humor when it fits. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, help you notice patterns, and challenge you when something may be keeping you stuck. I draw from evidence-based, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based approaches, tailoring our work to who you are and what you need. Sometimes that means exploring where a pattern began; other times, it means practicing something new, facing what you’ve been avoiding, or finding a different way forward.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for me to understand what brings you to therapy, what has been difficult lately, and what you hope will be different. I’ll ask questions about your history, current concerns, strengths, and previous experiences with therapy, while leaving plenty of room for you to tell your story in your own way. You do not need to arrive with everything figured out. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying what you want to work on and whether my approach feels like a good fit for you.
