Great to meet you!

Life right now has become extremely challenging to navigate; there is immense uncertainty and regardless of what walk of life we are from it seems everyone is touched by it. It's more important than ever to find ways to cope and attend to our own mental health. As an LMFT, I assist in the exploration of a person's individual and attachment needs and relationships to help them find emotional improvement. My experience is in treating patients with anxiety, depression, family/parent conflict, grief/loss, relational problems, and with navigating life transitions like divorce. People come to see me when their ability to cope with life's stresses and have meaningful interpersonal relationships is impacted.

I have worked with families in various capacities for over 18 years in the field across multiple settings at schools and in clinics. I continue to work with families in another profession I currently maintain. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is psychodynamic and attachment-based. I seek to truly get to know you, as well as how your past experiences and childhood history are affecting you and your current relationships. Our work will focus on helping you find direction and you will be provided specific tools for establishing healthy boundaries or a new path. Using your strengths and innate qualities, we will work to cultivate a stronger sense of self as well as instill new habits and coping mechanisms that promote your overall wellness. I strive to understand you as a unique individual, as well as help you objectively reflect on your experiences so that we can collaboratively guide you to uncover the fulfillment you seek in your life.

What you can expect from me

In the first few sessions, I would like to get to know you. We will create a supportive and understanding environment where you feel seen and understood. Together, we will empower you to make intentional choices toward improved mental health, from the very beginning. I look forward to meeting you.
