Heather Hammock

Hello, I am a therapist working with moms. I do good work with moms that are stressed, anxious, depressed, having struggles with parenting and other relationships. I attended Longwood University for undergrad and Lynchburg College for my graduate work. I am licensed in the state of Virginia as a professional counselor.

I use cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, family-focused, and solution-focused therapies.

I set goals with my clients and work hard each session to help them meet their goals. My clients usually enjoy learning strategies to decrease their symptoms, and discussing life issues in a safe and supportive environment.
