Great to meet you!

I grew up on a 70 acre farm in Newnan, GA and developed a love for the outdoors and animals. I own 4 rescue dogs and two rescue cats. I appreciate art, music, theater, attending concerts, and teaching psychology. I love reading and watching sports. My favorite hobby is riding horses.

I knew that working with children, teens, and young adults was my calling when I entered college, so I have gained experience in children's mental health from working all levels of care and modalities, from inpatient residential to outpatient. I am skilled in putting developmental psychology into practice working with families and parents. I have been blessed to witness and facilitate wonderful transformations and progress for children and families, as a result of expressive therapy: (play, art, animal assisted, outdoor, music, sports, and psychodrama).

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to create a safe space where children, teens, and adults can share their emotional world and then we can work as a team to find solutions to problematic thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

What you can expect from me

The family and the child can learn coping skills, strengths, and find the words to express themselves to their loved ones and friends, thus creating closeness, connections, and a positive sense of self and outlook to the world.
