Great to meet you!

I work to understand the underlying patterns and factors influencing your current challenges, so our work targets what will create meaningful, lasting change. I am an LCSW-R with over 15 years of experience in human services and social work, including work with youth, families, individuals with substance use disorders, and university students. I use a blend of approaches tailored to each person I work with, drawing from psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution‐focused therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that every person has inherent worth and the ability for personal growth. I recognize that each individual brings a unique mix of strengths, experiences, and needs, so I tailor the work to fit you rather than relying on a single model. I also view you as the expert in your own life, so our work is collaborative. Together, we’ll explore the patterns and contributing factors behind what you’re facing, allowing us to focus on changes that genuinely move you forward.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I’ll create a comfortable space for you to share what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’d like to work on. I’ll ask focused questions to understand your history and current concerns and personal goals. We’ll also review essential logistics such as your address, emergency contact, and insurance information so everything is set up correctly.
