Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years in the counseling field, including 8 years of clinical experience working with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, grief, and difficult life transitions. I have a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and am trained in EMDR and trauma-focused therapy. I especially enjoy working with women and mothers as they navigate relationships, family life, identity, and the emotional demands of motherhood. Having experienced infertility and the journey to parenthood myself, I have a personal understanding of the grief, uncertainty, and complicated emotions that can accompany that experience. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized, creating a space where you can feel safe, understood, and supported. As a Christian, I’m also able to incorporate a Christian counseling lens into therapy if faith is important to you, while respecting each client’s individual beliefs, values, and preferences.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and tailored to each individual. I use EMDR, CBT, somatic techniques, and creative interventions including art-based techniques, when appropriate. I believe our experiences, thoughts, emotions, and bodies are interconnected, and I help clients explore the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Together, we’ll develop greater self-understanding and practical tools to help you move forward. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy—we’ll begin where you are and work together at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know one another and for you to share what brings you to therapy. We’ll discuss your concerns, goals, and what you hope to get from counseling. I’ll answer your questions, explain how I work, and begin developing a plan that fits your needs. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and comfortable. You won't be expected to have anything figured out or share anything before you are ready. You can simply come as you are and I will meet you there!
