Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over nine years of experience supporting adults through trauma, grief, and relationship challenges. I was a previous Clinical Director at a rape crisis center, and specialize in working with survivors of interpersonal trauma, as well as loved ones who have been impacted by someone else’s trauma. I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel seen and heard.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand what you’re experiencing, develop tools that fit your needs, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable. I have training and experience in EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and use these often in my practice. You don’t have to have experienced a “big T” trauma to benefit from therapy - I also work with people navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and the lasting effects of difficult experiences.

What you can expect from me

I always start with at least one introductory session, where we can begin getting to know each other and you’ll have the opportunity to share what brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. From there, we’ll work together to create a plan for moving toward your goals. I’ll share treatment options and recommendations based on my clinical experience, while you bring the expertise of your own lived experience. Together, we’ll figure out what approaches feel like the right fit for you and your needs. There’s no expectation that you’ll have everything figured out in the first session - we’ll take it one step at a time.
