Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and self‐compassion. My practice is grounded in evidence‐based approaches, a collaborative therapeutic style, and a deep respect for each client’s unique story.

I earned my graduate degree in Advanced Practice Registered Nursing, with an MSN from Northern Kentucky University, where I focused on Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practioner. I’ve worked in impatient hospitals, community outpatient settings, as well as private practice. I support clients across diverse backgrounds and needs.

My experience includes working with those with anxiety disorders, trauma, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, grief, and stress management. I collaborate with therapists to integrate modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness‐based interventions to tailor treatment to each individual’s goals and strengths. I believe therapy should feel both structured and flexible.

Clients describe my approach as warm, direct, collaborative, and non‐judgmental.

Whether you’re seeking support for a specific concern or looking to better understand yourself, I’m committed to providing thoughtful, compassionate care that empowers you to move forward with confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is grounded in creating a therapeutic relationship where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported. I focus on understanding each person’s unique experiences and tailoring treatment to their goals, strengths, and challenges. I work collaboratively, helping clients build insight, develop practical skills, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.

I believe effective care balances compassion with clarity. That means I listen deeply, offer thoughtful reflections, and provide structured tools when they’re helpful. I also value transparency—clients always know why we’re using a particular approach and how it supports their goals.

Above all, I aim to create a space where clients can grow at their own pace, build resilience, and reconnect with a sense of agency and possibility.

What you can expect from me

The first appointment sets the foundation for your work together. It’s structured, collaborative, and intentionally paced so clients feel comfortable, informed, and supported from the very beginning.

Much of the first session focuses on getting to know the client—what brings them in, what they’ve been experiencing, and what they hope to change or understand. You’ll explore their history, current concerns, and any relevant background at a pace that feels manageable. Clients can share as much or as little as they feel ready to.
