Great to meet you!

Hey y'all! I am a Texas Tech Red Raider, and received my Masters degree in Counseling from Texas Woman's University in 2012. Being a Mom of 3 who runs her own business, I understand the stress, anxiety, and struggles that we face each day. I specialize in helping women to feel more understood, and less alone.

A bit about my approach to therapy

A typical session with me feels a lot like plopping down on the couch with a old friend, and chatting about any and everything. No need to fix your hair, or do your makeup. Wear your sweats, and bring your "yuck" to the session. You control the pace of your session, but I'll definitely give you a nudge if I think you're ready for it.

What you can expect from our first session

In each session, we begin with what I call the "Rose and Thorn." We discuss something positive, something not so positive, and something you are looking forward to. After meeting with me in a session, you can typically expect laughter, lightbulb moments, and maybe even some tears. All of the above are what I consider to be progress.
