I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over twenty years and earned my master’s degree from the University of Maryland. I am currently licensed in both Florida and Maryland. I have experience providing mental health services to adults, children/teens, and the family system with a goal to provide support, healing, and hope.
My therapeutic focus includes helping clients to find their voice to advocate for themselves, forming healthy boundaries in relationships, improving emotional literacy, releasing grief and loss and utilizing curiosity to uncover core beliefs and behavioral patterns.
My hope is that a client would walk away from the first session feeling open to returning to for additional sessions because they feel we can work collaboratively and there is a foundation to establish trust. I believe the client will have an understanding of the importance of a treatment which will include a mind, body and spiritual connection building on their strengths.
