Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience providing care in both outpatient clinics and inpatient psychiatric settings. I have worked with individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and personality disorders.

My approach is compassionate, down-to-earth, and genuine. I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I value open, honest communication and strive to provide thoughtful, transparent guidance while working collaboratively with each person to develop a treatment plan that aligns with their goals. I believe that trust is built through mutual honesty and respect, and I am committed to supporting my clients every step of their mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe that the best mental health care starts with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and open communication. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I strive to create a safe, judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and concerns.

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and other mental health conditions. I take the time to understand each client's unique story, symptoms, and goals before developing an individualized treatment plan. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with education, supportive counseling, and lifestyle recommendations to promote long-term wellness.

I value honesty and transparency in the therapeutic relationship. I will always provide straightforward, thoughtful recommendations while listening to your perspective and respecting your preferences. My goal is to help you better understand your mental health, feel empowered in your treatment decisions, and work together toward meaningful, lasting improvement.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, my priority is getting to know you and understanding what brought you to treatment. We'll discuss your current concerns, mental health history, medical history, previous treatments, medications, and the goals you hope to achieve. I also encourage you to ask questions so you feel informed and comfortable throughout the process.

My approach is relaxed, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I want you to feel heard and respected from the very beginning. Together, we'll review your symptoms, identify areas where you're struggling, and develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, education, and supportive strategies tailored to your needs.

By the end of the first appointment, you'll have a clearer understanding of your diagnosis, treatment options, and the next steps in your care. My goal is for you to leave feeling supported, hopeful, and confident that we're working together toward improving your mental health and overall well-being.
