Great to meet you!

Clients can expect a warm and supportive presence in therapy. I understand that people seek therapy for many different reasons, including life transitions, past trauma, grief, anxiety, or uncertainty about the future. My role is to create a space where you feel comfortable being open and where your experiences are met with respect and curiosity. I approach therapy as a collaborative process and work with you to identify what you need and what you want your goals to be.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client‐centered and tailored to each person. I draw from humanistic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and EMDR. I specialize in trauma, depression, and anxiety. I focus on building safety and trust first so that you can explore your experiences at a pace that feels manageable. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, and I work to create an environment where you feel supported and never judged.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We talk about your current concerns, your history, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You are always in control of what you choose to share. My goal is to create a calm and welcoming environment where you feel heard and supported. By the end of the session, you will have a sense of how we can work together and what the next steps may look like.
