Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Heather, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Tennessee and Georgia. A lot of the people who work with me are anxious, stressed, and the ones everyone else counts on — the high achievers, the steady ones, the ones holding it together at work, at school, and at home — and they've reached a point where they're ready to put some of it down and just breathe for a minute.

My approach to therapy

Honestly? I think most of us already know more about ourselves than we acknowledge. A lot of our work is helping you trust what you already sense and giving you the words, tools, and breathing room to actually do something with it. I'm warm, down-to-earth, and pretty real — I'll laugh with you when something's funny and sit with you when something hurts. The people I love working with most are high-achieving college students navigating the pressure and pace of college life, high achievers running on fumes, women navigating midlife and identity shifts, caregivers stretched between aging parents and growing kids, adults still untangling family-of-origin stuff, neurodivergent adults, and veterans and military-connected individuals. If you see yourself anywhere in that, you're in good company here.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really just a chance to get to know each other. You'll have space to share what's bringing you in, and we'll talk through what you'd love to look or feel different. From there, we'll explore your patterns, where they might be coming from, and the practical things that actually help in real life. I bring in mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation work to help quiet the noise so the deeper work feels doable, and we'll move at a pace that for you.
