Great to meet you!

Hello! Journey of Life Therapy is all about supporting you and your journey with dealing with struggles that stem from trauma, depression, anxiety, PCOS, or any other types of stressors.

Graduating from Western Michigan University with my Masters in Social Work in 2018, I specialized in trauma focused therapeutic work with individuals from all ages. Also specializing even further with learning TF-CBT, also known as trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Working with individuals, children, teens and families for over 5 years has shown me that there is hope and positive changes can be made. Using techniques from art therapy, challenging and changing thoughts through CBT or TF-CBT, and DBT can be helpful in managing symptoms and healing for you or your child.

I specialize in supporting those experiencing symptoms from depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and PCOS.

What you can expect from our first session

In therapy, I hope to create a non-judgmental and trauma informed space for you. Utilizing humor helps create a comfortable space as well.

Initial sessions are about getting to know you and what you would like out therapy as well as what you would like in a therapist. In the beginning, building a connection as well as assessing your current struggles will happen.
