Great to meet you!

Heather Pepe brings a wealth of knowledge with over 25 years of experience in mental health. Heather utilizes a holistic and self-actualized approach to treating anxiety, depression, and PTSD and is EMDR-certified. Heather is also a qualified supervisor committed to fostering growth in both clients and the next generation of clinicians.

My approach to therapy

I experienced many situations in my life that I felt were socially unjust and lacked advocacy of vulnerable populations; especially women and children. I started an internship at a community mental health organization and met my mentor/lifelong friend. I was working with the most vulnerable population of chronic and persistent mental health. These genuine souls allowed me to witness and gain trust in me to help them improve quality of life. I worked many years with crisis intervention, substance abuse, and mental health. Over the past 12 years I was clinical director during the opioid epidemic and helped start a MAT program in our community healthcare agency. Recently I obtained EMDR certification for trauma intervention and treatment focusing on PTSD and CPTSD.

What you can expect from me

I like to meet initially and have a quick consultation to determine if I am the right fit for you identifying short term goals. I will openly work with any client that truly want to find a solution to their problem and is willing to do the hard work to change. Our first entire session will focus on me listening to you and helping you identify present needs to address.
