Great to meet you!

I am so happy you are taking the next step for your mental health and wellness! My name is Heather Phelps, owner of HLP Wellness Solutions, Licensed Professional Counselor, and CAADC ( Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor). I am a seasoned clinician having worked in all aspects of intensity in behavioral health; detox, residential, partial hospital, intensive outpatient, and general outpatient. I have experience working with substance use disorders, behavioral addictions, anxiety, codependency, depression, trauma, first responders, personality disorders, and mood disorders. I offer a client centered approach to care, valuing honesty, compassion, and accountability.

My approach to therapy

I offer a client centered approach to care, valuing honesty, compassion, and accountability. I believe that that the client/therapist relationship should be one that is based on mutual trust & respect, open & honest communication, and ability to work collaboratively on treatment goals.

What you can expect from me

If you are thinking about taking that brave next step, I would love to meet you, and it would be an honor to embark on that journey with you! I offer a remote treatment experience for those that would prefer to remain in the comfort of their own home. You can expect our first session to be a laid-back conversation, where you can share with me only what you feel comfortable as we build trust. If you wish to continue, we will set some goals together and work on a plan that meets your needs.

Whether you are struggling with substance use disorders, mental health, work-related stress, grief & bereavement, relationships, parenting stress---or just feeling overwhelmed with your current situation, I am here to offer support and empowerment along the way.

Right now, I am limited to seeing Pennsylvania residents only.
