Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Heather, I am an LCSW based in NJ and I focus on working with youth and adults. My greatest passion is to facilitate the healing process with individuals who have experienced developmental trauma, complex trauma and toxic stress. I also have extensive experience in working with individuals with neurodiversity (trauma informed/bottom up approaches).

My approach to therapy

When people experience trauma and severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to be negatively impacted. No single approach will work for every individual. I am trained in a range of trauma informed therapeutic modalities, including Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), ARC Grow, Nurtured Heart Approach, play therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Collaborative and Proactive Solutions and co-developer of the STARR Program,

What you can expect from me
