Great to meet you!

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I am aware of how hard it is for any individual to speak about personal struggles with someone who is new to them. Because of this I work diligently to try and make every individual feel as comfortable as possible when they are brave enough to come in for treatment. I feel it is a privilege to walk alongside my clients through some of life’s greatest challenges and then to help them thrive.

My approach to therapy

I have 20+ years of experience as a nurse with a strong background in various medical issues. I graduated from ASU with my doctoral degree in 2019. I have had extensive postgraduate training in the fields of trauma, attachment, mindfulness, and psychiatric treatment for women during pregnancy, and postpartum. I work collaboratively with my clients and their therapists, considering both medical and non-medical approaches to treatment including supplements and lifestyle changes.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to feel heard and not rushed through your appointment. All concerns will be met with a compassionate and direct approach. Controlled substances are prescribed judiciously and only if I feel they are appropriate. Paperwork can be filled out after a therapeutic relationship has been established.
