Great to meet you!

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I earned a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art, where I explored the intersection of creativity, social justice, and human behavior. That background continues to shape the way I approach therapy today. Creativity invites curiosity and flexibility—it helps people explore their experiences from new perspectives and develop greater compassion for themselves.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with thoughtful women and LGBTQ+ individuals whose lives may look full on the outside but feel disconnected on the inside. Many of my clients have meaningful work, supportive relationships, and a life they’ve worked hard to build—yet still find themselves feeling lonely in relationships, questioning themselves, or wondering why they feel responsible for everyone else’s needs.

In therapy, my goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to explore what’s beneath those feelings. Together, we work toward greater clarity, deeper connection, and a stronger sense of trust in yourself.

In addition to my private practice, I work in leadership, developing a 13-acre treatment center—work that I genuinely love. This role allows me to stay deeply connected to the field while also maintaining a smaller, more intentional caseload. Because of this, I’m able to be fully present and engaged with the clients I do work with.

When we begin working together, I invite you to take the lead in determining the frequency of our sessions. At the same time, I’ll offer clinical guidance if I believe meeting more or less often would better support your goals.

My approach to therapy

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and used to managing a lot on their own. But even when life looks good from the outside, it’s common to feel disconnected, anxious in relationships, or unsure why something still feels off.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in helping you reconnect with your own internal clarity and strengths. I draw from attachment-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care to help you understand patterns that may be shaping your relationships, emotional responses, and sense of self.

Therapy with me is a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can talk openly about what’s going on in your life—whether you have a clear reason for seeking therapy or simply feel that something inside you wants to be explored. We move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and together we work toward creating more ease, connection, and self-trust in your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out beforehand. Sometimes people come in with a clear concern, and other times they simply have a sense that something feels off or disconnected.

During our first conversation, we’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what feels most important to you right now, and what you hope might feel different in your life or relationships. We’ll also begin identifying patterns or challenges that may be contributing to the way you’re feeling.

Many clients leave the first session feeling relieved to have a space where they can speak openly and begin making sense of their experiences. From there, we’ll work together to build greater clarity, stronger connection, and a deeper sense of trust in yourself and your relationships.
